Thick-film resistors meet AEC-Q200 standard

A series of high-reliability thick-film chip resistors from KOA that are designed for high-precision use cases such as automation in industrial application or battery designs in the automotive sector are in stock at RS Components. The RS73 series of ultra-high-precision metal-glaze thick-film resistors offer tolerances of ±0.1% and a TCR of 25 ppm/°C.

New series of ultra-high-precision thick-film chip resistors for automotive applications

RS Components now offers a new series of high-reliability thick-film chip resistors from KOA that are intended for high-precision use cases such as automation in industrial application or battery designs in the automotive sector.

KOA RS73F1JTTD1802BNew high-reliability thick film resistors for surface mounting (KOA RS73F1JTTD1802B)

The KOA 330Ohm 0603 Thick Film Resistor ±0.1%, 0.125W, available now from RS Components, is a metal-glaze thick film resistor for surface mounting. The device is a high precision resistor with T.C.R. ±25×10-6/K and tolerance ±0.1%. The device offers high reliability with ΔR of ±0.2% and ±0.4% in the reliability test. The resistor is suitable for both flow and reflow solderings.

Metal plate power shunts ideal for high current applications (KOA PSL2NTEBL300)

Available now from TTI Europe and ideal for high current applications, the PSx series of shunts has just been expanded by KOA. Built using a solid metal alloy resistance element with copper terminations the device also has a low TC and excellent pulse characteristics. These new shunt resistors are ideal for accurate high current sensing in automotive and industrial applications as well as in high pulse power applications.

25ppm, 0.1%, ESD Tolerant High Precison Resistors

KOA’s new RS73-series are ESD transient tolerant high precision and high reliability resistors using thick film technology. With a T.C.R. down to 25ppm and a tolerance as low as 0.1%, the new RS73-series from KOA is ideal for precision designs such as high-accuracy sensing or voltage detection circuits in automotive, industrial and measuring applications, where ESD sensitivity is an issue.

600A – New Large Current High Power Shunt

The new HS series from KOA is ideal for sensing currents up to 600 A. Constructed using a solid metal alloy resistance element with copper terminations the device provides superior corrosion and heat resistance and has excellent pulse resistance.

Pulse Proof and Anti-Surge, High Power Thick Film Chip Resistors

Surge protection is becoming essential for all circuit designs. With the SG73-series, KOA offers a resistor series which has approx. 10 times higher pulse handling capability compared to standard flat chip resistors. Due to this outstanding pulse load capability these are suitable for protection of electronic circuits against extreme pulses and surges. These resistors are available with ±10 % or ±20 % resistance tolerance.

Metal Plate Power Shunts – Automotive

For high current applications, KOA has now expanded its existing power shunt series by adding the new PSJ2/PSL2 (2 terminals) and PSG4/PSF4 (4 terminals) series.

Terminal High Current Power Shunt for Automotive

KOA introduces two new series of 4 terminal current shunts for high current applications. Constructed using a solid metal alloy resistance element with copper terminations the device provides superior corrosion and heat resistance and has excellent pulse resistance.
